The Scientific Program Committee of ASM 2010

Notes
-
Abstracts should be submitted online; abstracts
sent to the conference organisers by email, fax,
mail or other method will be not be accepted.
All abstracts must be original work.
-
You have to be registered for the conference
before you can submit an abstract.
Although your registration payment can be made
at a later date, it must be fully paid by
15
April 2010. Full refunds
are available if your abstract is not accepted and you decide that you don't want to
attend the conference. Note that: Acceptance
of your abstract does not constitute an
entitlement for registration funding from the
conference.
-
The abstract submitter will be
acknowledged as being the Presenting Author
unless advised otherwise -
there can only be one Presenting Author.
Multiple abstracts per presenting author
are permitted.
-
Abstract Review Results (ie. whether your
abstract has been accepted or not) will be
emailed to the submitter by mid-May 2010.
It is the responsibility of the submitter to
ensure they receive this emailed communication.
-
Successful abstracts received by the
deadline date will be published in the Program &
Abstracts Book and on a searchable environment
on the conference website that is accessed via
password - by submitting your abstract you give
permission for such publication.
Content of an Abstract
-
The purpose of the abstract is to define
the precise subject of the presentation to an
audience. It is unsatisfactory to
state that results will be presented or
discussed at the conference - these abstracts
may be subject to rejection.
-
An abstract should not be a formal
publication.
-
Tables, figures, literature references and
acknowledgements should not form any part
of the abstract's content.
