Overview
Light refreshments will be served while Professor
Ray Kearney and Mrs Elma Kerney give a short
presentation of the significance of the Lane Cove
Bushland Park and its mycological diveristy.
Following this, you will be taken on an expert guided foray
(non-collecting) through key parts of the Bushland
Park!

Lane Cove Bushland Park is a site in the middle of a high-density residential area
about 4 km from the Sydney GPO.
Centred about a tributary of Gore Creek,
the warm temperate gallery forest has an assemblage of at least 25 species
of the family Hygrophoraceae (Fungi, Basidiomycota, Agaricales, Hygrophoraceae).
